What is Sculptra?​​

Sculptra®, or poly-L-lactic acid (PLLA), is a unique facial injectable that replaces collagen lost during the aging process. Sculptra® is the only volumizer scientifically designed to stimulate natural collagen growth. Traditional dermal fillers only address wrinkles, lines and folds; Sculptra® works differently. It replenishes lost volume by stimulating growth of your own natural collagen to treat the underlying causes of facial aging. How Does Sculptra Work?​

Sculptra Aesthetic is made with biocompatible, biodegradable, synthetic material called poly-L-lactic acid, which is gradually and naturally absorbed by the body and helps to rebuild lost collagen through a series of treatments administered by a trained specialist.

A trained practitioner st Mangata Medical Spa injects treatment within the deep dermis, where strands of collagen support your skin's structure. Over time, Sculptra Aesthetic helps the body reproduce lost collagen. The number of injection appointments and the number of injections per appointment vary from person to person, depending on how much collagen has been lost. On average, three injection appointments are needed over a period of a few months.
